Hello, my name is David Sandstrom and I am a Biblical/Natural Health Coach. My office is in West Palm Beach, Florida near Wellington/Lake Worth. My credentials include:

ND (Naturopathic Doctor) and CNC (Certified Nutritional Counselor) from the Trinity College of Natural Health and a graduate degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, MBA (Master of Business Administration). I am also a Certified Biblical Health Coach. I am licensed to do nutritional counseling in all 50 states by the  Commission on Religious Counseling and Healing.

It is important to understand what I am not. I am not a medical doctor nor am I Dietician. These terms are reserved for licensed medical professionals. I am a professional health educator. I do not diagnose, prevent or treat any disease. Nor do I give advice on medications. I educate people helping them to make more informed lifestyle choices for better health.

My journey into natural health started about ten years ago when I was suffering from chronic sinus infections. At the time I was flying full-time as pilot, experiencing dramatic pressure changes several times a day this was a serious condition and can be very dangerous. I did the “obvious” thing and sought out an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) MD. I was diagnosed with acute sinusitis with an accompanying mild asthma. My doctor was convinced that the solution to my health issues was to find the “right” combination of cortico-steriods and antibiotics to clear up my infection. I walked out of his office every two weeks with a bag full of sample drugs in one hand and a fist full of prescriptions in the other.

Pilots are very good at following instructions and I was desperate for help, so I followed his instructions to the letter. After four long months of aggressive medical treatment my symptoms were worse than when I started. At this point I was referred to a sinus surgeon.  I saw two different surgeons and they both recommended surgery.

I went home and started researching sinus surgery. I found that the surgery involved some substantial risks including blindness since there is perfuse bleeding during the procedure making it difficult for the surgeon to see what he is cutting out, and the roto-rooter type device is very close to the optic nerve. And here was the kicker: 50% of people who get the surgery are back under the knife a year later because the symptoms return.

Considering these facts, I started considering natural solutions to my health issues. I sought out the advice of a Natural Health Care Practitioner. He told me that he believed I had food sensitivities or intolerance’s and recommended that I eliminate some of the more common irritants for a time, including: wheat, dairy and yeast. He also put me on a Candida cleanse which is a regimen to rebuild my immune system that had been compromised from all the drugs. Thirty days later, I was a new person! My sinus infection and accompanying congestion were completely gone. Not only that, my sleep was more restful, my energy and stamina were greatly increased.  My memory and mental alertness were dramatically improved and my wife will tell you, I was a lot more fun to be around.

Having experienced first hand how effective natural health protocols can be, I became and enthusiastic supporter of natural health. From that point, I was committed to pursuing a lifestyle of natural health for my family and me. Since then, God has developed in me a passion to help others experience the freedom that comes with vibrant health. In  2003 I made the decision to pursue natural health as a full-time career.
